Elizabeth Tyson Jewelry CollectionWe bring local painter, Elizabeth Tyson's work, into jewelry design this season! Our approach consisted of creating faggotted rouleau shapes by hand that took on Tyson's botanical illustration and forms drawn from observation. Rouleau refers to the trim that takes on new forms of curvature and faggotting is the stitchery that connects these pieces together. This collection evolved as we expanded our knowledge of Tyson's process of her drawings and paintings, by mixing in stitchery and beading techniques.
