The IANNECI for FURIO Jewelry Collection was highly envisioned based on the work of painter Elizabeth Tyson. Their approach consisted of creating faggotted rouleau shapes by hand that took on Tyson's botanical illustration and forms drawn from observation. Rouleau refers to the trim that takes on new forms of curvature and Faggotting is the stitchery that connects these pieces together. This collection evolved as they expanded their knowledge of Tyson's process of her drawings and paintings, by mixing in stitchery and beading techniques. As a result, IANNECI has created a new form of art in botanical evolution.
